「oriente（オリエンテ）」のブランド名で約半世紀にわたり、コントラバス、ビオラダガンバ、チェロの製作を行う工房。素材から塗装まで、すべてにこだわりをもって、和鉋など日本の道具で丁寧に手作りで仕上げられた職人仕事によるもの。できあがった楽器が奏でる音色は、風格があり、のびやかでバランスの取れた音が特長。自分だけのオリジナル楽器が欲しい！という要望にも、希望にあった完全オーダーメイド制作で対応してくれる。
Over the half-century, Higashi String Instrument Factory has been making contrabass, viola da gamba, and cello. From the process of choosing materials to coating, the artisans make instruments carefully with traditional Japanese carpentry tools.Their instruments have stately and extensive tunes and its balanced sounds make it distinctive.They also accept the request for made to order strings instruments.
