京都各所にある多様なモノづくりの現場。日々何かが生み出されている現場をオープンして、交流を通じて視野を広げることで生まれるイノベーション。京都が創造性溢れる街となっていくきっかけの場、それがDESIGN WEEK KYOTO。

A great variety of: factories, workshops, and stores, where creation is born every day, will be open to the public.
DESIGN WEEK KYOTO activates an interaction between local manufacturing and creative industries with international visitors. Since 2016, the events have aimed to offer an experience that fruit new “insights” triggering synergetic innovation in and out of Kyoto beyond industry, culture and country.
In this way, we aim to accelerate creativity in Kyoto.
A great variety of: factories, workshops, and stores, where creation is born every day, will be open to the public.

DESIGN WEEK KYOTOでは、2020年2月23-3月1日の1週間にわたって、京都のモノづくり現場（SITE）がオープンします。
国内外の様々な人との交流を通じて、相互の視野（SIGHT）を広げ、新たなアイデアやコラボレーションが生み出され、京都が創造性溢れる街となっていくきっかけの場となることを願っています。

Over the course of Design Week Kyoto (23Feb,1Mar 2020), 47 creative sites will be opened. By welcoming people from diverse sectors, the event aims for innovative interactions that will bring a mind-opening experience and to empower creativity in Kyoto.
