創業明和元年（1764年）、現当主で十代目となる老舗の京念珠店。約2500年もの昔、釈迦がお経を唱えた数を数える法具として編み出したのが京念珠の起源とされている。一般の人々が救いを求めるため生まれた京念珠は、現代では「お守り」としての役割も果たし、多くの人々に愛されている。
Established in 1764, Nakano-Isuke is a 10th generation Buddhist prayer bead shop. The history of prayer beads traces back about 2500 years ago when the Buddha used it as a tool to count the number of times a sutra was recited. Originally born for people seeking salvation, prayer beads have evolved over the years into an amulet loved by many.
