友禅は世界でも例のない多色使いができる染色技法だが、インクジェットプリントが主流となった現代では、手描き友禅は稀少なものになりつつある。富宏染工では、伝統的な職人技術を駆使し、繊細なグラデーションで独自の美しい世界観を描く着物の製造・販売を続けている。
Yuzen is a dyeing technique with a very colorful palette but with the development of inkjet printers, hand-painted Yuzen has become very rare. At Tomihiro Senko, they continue to use traditional Yuzen techniques to produce and sell kimonos that draw out a beautiful worldview through its delicate and subtle color gradations.
