オリジナルデザインの革靴を手がける工房。メインテーマは日本の履物文化の新しい基本型を作ること。日本に古来より伝わる形を現代の生活に合うデザインに昇華し、革靴の技術と合わせ製作している。ヌメ革をメイン素材とし、目指すのは畳に素足が触れた時の開放的な感触の心地よさ。吉靴房のオーダーメイドは各個人へ思いやりと経験と個性を纏う特別な履物を提供する。
To develop a new foundation for the Japanese footwear culture.” This is the concept of Kikkabo. Adjusting tradition of Japanese shoe forms and techniques into the modern lifestyle, Kikkabo produces custom-made leather shoes. Having cow hide as a main material, Kikkabo wishes to provide comfortable and refreshing feeling as if your feet touch the tatami mat.
