All about woven textiles from hand-weaving to machine-weaving
177年の歴史を持つファブリックメーカー。帯、緞帳などの美術工芸織物からカーテンなどのインテリア製品まで幅広く生産。織り・染め技術者からの解説を聞きながら見学できるコース（A）、国内最古の企業博物館「川島織物文化館」と工場を両方見学できるコース（B）から選択。各ツアー後、絹製タッセル型チャーム作り体験（有料）も実施（2月28日を除く）。2月28日は、匠弘堂との共同ツアーを開催。
With 177 years of history as a fabric manufacturer, Kawashima Selkon Textiles has produced a wide variety of woven items from artistic works to interior decoration items. There are two guided tours: “[A]Meet craftspeople in the studio” and “[B]Learn about basic of weaving and dyeing of textile.” Both tours are followed by a workshop in which people can try making a silk tassel charm as an option (except for Feb. 28th). Special joint tour with Shokodo on Feb. 28.
